Real estate company fires Fox News pundit who claimed California shooter had ‘homosexual impulses’

A real estate company has cut its ties with a Fox News psychotherapist who claimed mass-murderer Elliot Rodger had “homosexual impulses”, and purged her articles from its website.

Coldwell Banker Real Estate, which employs over 100,000 salespeople in 46 countries, previously employed Robi Ludwig as a “lifestyle real estate correspondent”.

Elliot Rodger, who died after killing 6 innocent people and injuring many more in Isla Vista, had posted a rant on YouTube and left a 141-page manifesto, promising retribution because he could not get a girlfriend.

Ludwig theorised on Fox News show Justice with Judge Jeanine on Saturday that he was instead acting because of “homosexual impulses”.

She said: “When I was first listening to him, I was like, ‘Oh, he’s angry with women for rejecting him’, and then I started to have a different idea: Is this somebody who is trying to fight against his homosexual impulses?

“Was he angry with women because they were taking away men from him? Was he angry at the men for not choosing him?”

According to the New Civil Rights Movement, Coldwell Banker today confirmed that she would no longer be associated with their company, following the incident.

A statement said: “Dr. Robi’s comments on the tragedy in Santa Barbara do not represent the opinions of Coldwell Banker.

“Therefore at this time we feel it best to part ways with her as our lifestyle real estate correspondent.”

All articles written by Ludwig on the company’s website have also been pulled down, though they still appear in searches.

Ludwig had yesterday claimed that her comments were “misunderstood”, and apologised “to all those who felt offended”.
