Austria’s Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst will appear on tonight’s Graham Norton Show.

The 25-year-old singer was crowned the 2014 Eurovision champion last weekend.

However, her victory was met with outrage by several homophobic Russian politicians.

The president of Russia’s state-run rail corporation accused the West of imposing “pure propaganda” following Wurst’s victory.

She won’t be singing in tonight’s TV appearance, instead Sam Smith has been booked as the musical act.

Graham Norton admitted on Twitter and Instagram that he is on a “Conchita High” after interviewing Wurst.

The Graham Norton Show is broadcast tonight at 10.35pm on BBC One.

Comedienne Dawn French, actress Kirsten Dunst and adventurer Bear Grylls will also appear alongside Wurst.
