A Dutch rapper is under investigation for the use of extremely homophobic, racist and anti-Semitic lyrics in a rap song.

Rapper Ismo, real name Ismael Houllich, uploaded the obscenity-filled track, titled Eenmans (Literal translation One Man’s), last week.

Lyrics include “don’t shake hands with faggots”, and and “I hate those f***ing Jews more than the Nazis”.

According to Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, 19-year-old Lars Hobma, who is gay, filed a complaint with the police, claiming the track is incitement to hatred.

Houllich refutes the accusations, claiming: “It all depends on how you interpret the song.

“By ‘faggots’ I didn’t mean homosexuals and by ‘Jews’ I didn’t mean all Jews. My fans realize that.

“They are trying to twist my words against me.

“I don’t hate all Jews. I hate only Zionist Jews. Zionist Jews give other Jews a bad name.”

Hobma told the newspaper that he has received multiple death threats on Facebook for filing the complaint.

He said: “I was told I would burn in hell and that I was the son of a whore.

“Obviously these are not fun messages when you’re trying to fight for a better world.”

The video has so far received 140,000 views on YouTube, and despite the hate speech complaint remains available.
