Anti-gay Christians who claim same-sex parents resemble a possible “blight on normal human development” have staged a conference in London.

The Voice for Justice UK (VJUK) ‘Stolen Children’ event, hosted by the Lords and Commons Family and Child Protection Group, took place at The Emmanuel Centre in Westminster on Wednesday.

VJUK, which opposes equal marriage, says on its website: “While recognising that we live in a fallen world, faced with the reality of what seems an ever increasing number of broken relationships, Voice for Justice UK upholds the lifelong and exclusive union between one man and one woman.”

Topic discussed included: “Sexually Transmitted Insanity: Sex Education has failed. But was that the intention of its planners?”

A debate entitled: “The adults are happy, but what about the kids? Growing up with 2 Moms”, featuring same-sex marriage “opponent” Bobby Lopez and Dr Peter May.

Antonia Tully, from the Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child (SPUC), conducted an afternoon session on how to plan for the 2015 General Election.

In October 2012, the director of SPUC, John Smeaton, said same-sex marriage would mean not being able to teach children “that marriage exists to protect them.”

Speakers at today’s event also included Christian Concern founder Andrea Williams who last week demanded that David Cameron intervene in the case of a London nursery worker who was fired after refusing to read stories about gay couples to children.

Earlier this month, Ms Williams commented on the resignation of a gay teacher in Birmingham by claiming that school children were being indoctrinated into homosexuality.
