A group which defends against challenges to ‘ex-gay’ therapy has started selling coffee to raise money for its legal defence fund.

According to Good as You, the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund, which claims to fight for ‘religious freedom’, has partnered with Christian coffee company ‘His Coffee’ to make the offer.

The Defence Fund Coffee website states: “Here’s how you can help support the defense of religious freedom and the upholding of the constitution of the United States of America.

“FCDF has partnered with His Coffee Company to bring you a coffee an American patriot can feel proud to drink.

“Five dollars of every bag sold will go directly to FCDF to help offset the ongoing legal fees associated with the trial-level defense for religious and constitutional rights.”

The coffees are available in Medium Roast, Dark Roast, Decaf and, aptly, Vanilla Nut.

The group previously defended a Jewish group over claims their ‘gay cure’ therapy was harmful.
