Glee and Erasure stars to perform at Detroit pride festival

Among the entertainment at this year’s pride festival in the city of Detroit will be Glee star Alex Newell and Erasure’s Andy Bell.

The announcement of the high-profile guests was made by Equality Michigan on Wednesday.

Two days of celebrations will take place in June at Hart Plaza in Detroit.

‘Motor City Pride’ is billed as Michigan’s largest gathering, and attracts thousands of revellers.

Benn is part of dance-pop duo Erasure and Newelle plays trans character Unique in Glee.
