UK: Police investigate anti-gay slurs written on car with brown sauce

Police in Shropshire are investigating homophobic messages written in brown sauce that were left all over a vehicle.

Express and Star reports the wing-mirrors were also smashed off the car, identified as a Renault, causing hundreds of pounds of damage.

The incident occured during the early hours of Sunday in Bernards Hill, Bridgnorth, between 12.30am and 3am.

Police are appealing for information about why the car or the owner would have been targeted.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 204S230214.
