Russia: Man jailed for manslaughter for stabbing doctor who proposed gay sex
A man in Russia has been jailed for nine years after killing a doctor who proposed that they have “homosexual relations”.
Seeking help for drug addiction, the killer from Malovishersky, visited the apartment of the doctor last summer, according to the Moscow Times.
The court heard that during the visit, the doctor proposed that the men have sex, after which the killer got angry and stabbed him in the back with a knife.
The man, who was not named but who had a prior conviction, was found guilty of manslaughter.
