Police are appealing for information regarding an altercation at a gay bar in Exeter last month.

A man was headbutted at the Vaults on Gandy Street during the early hours of Sunday 19 January, at around 1.15am.

He suffered a bloody nose and black eye.

The victim and his alleged attacker are both described as white men in their 20s. They were on the dancefloor at the time of the attack.

Devon and Cornwall Police are not treating the incident as a homophobic crime.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Pauline Beer in the Urban Crime Team at Heavitree Road Police Station by calling 101, quoting DE/14/632.
