British Olympic diving star Tom Daley has been announced as the new face of a new adidas range of “fresh and stylish” clothes aimed at a young market.

In a five-minute YouTube video last year, the British diving bronze medallist, and star of ITV’s Smash, revealed that he had been in a relationship with a man since Spring 2013.

He has now been featured as a model in the launch of the new adidas NEO Label

“It’s great to be working with the adidas NEO Label, a brand for teens with stylish and easy to wear looks – perfect for living your style,” Daley said.

“The jumper I wore for the NEO shoot is one of my favourites at the moment. It’s a twist on a standard jumper and it’s exactly what I like to throw on after training with a pair of jeans.”

Daley has said he will wear items from the NEO range for the final of ITV’s Smash this Saturday.

England football captain Casey Stoney revealed today that watching Olympic diver Tom Daley talk about his sexuality gave her the courage to publicly admit she is gay.
