Christian rapper Bizzle has recorded a homophobic rap response to ‘Same Love’, in which he compares gay people to paedophiles, and says they are “against God”.

The rap, posted on YouTube on Tuesday, was a response to the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis song ‘Same Love’.

At the Grammy awards last Sunday, 34 couples, both same-sex and opposite-sex, were married on-screen, with the ceremony officiated by Queen Latifah.

In the song, which opens with a Bible quote, he slams LGBT groups for adopting the rainbow as a symbol, because “it represents a covenant with God”, and complains that he “can’t even disagree without them making it a hate thing”.

The rapper proceeds to compare gay people to paedophiles:

“You were never oppressed, the devil was a liar
The only thing oppressed was your sexual desire
Keeping your desires oppressed is so lame to you
But when you get married that’s what you expect your mate to do
It angers you if I compare you to a paedophile
Because he’s sick, right, and you’re better, how?”

He also raps that equal marriage is invalid because gay people have enough rights through domestic partnerships:

And you say it’s about rights but you lying though – domestic partnerships gave you rights a long time ago.
God created marriage when he did he defined it though so why is it that you want what he created but denying no.
It’s not wicked enough switching the definition you want it done by a Christian in a church he worships in?

Bizzle, real name Mark J Felder, lives in Houston, Texas.

The song currently has over 30,000 views on YouTube, and 2000 likes.
