Charlie Sheen slams ‘mallard brained’ anti-gay Duck Dynasty star on Twitter

Actor Charlie Sheen has recently taken to Twitter in a polemical attack against the Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson, who last week sparked controversy after making anti-gay comments.

Following Robertson’s remarks last week comparing gay sex to “bestiality,” Charlie Sheen tweeted on Saturday: “You have offended and hurt so many dear friends of mine who DO NOT have the voice or the outreach that I do.”

He added: “Well news flash shower-dodger, I will speak loudly and clearly for ALL of them … Just when your desperately sub evolved ass thought the pressure was off, you are now in the cross hairs of a MaSheen style media beat down.”

“Your statements were and are abhorrently and mendaciously unforgivable. The idea that you have a job
outside of dirt-clod stacking is a miracle.

“The only thing you should ever be in charge of building is a hole in the ground the exact size of your head. Perhaps your beard would fit as well if you plucked out the army of scabies and bull weevils sequestered deep in it’s sarcophagus of dander and weasel pelts.

“Shame on you. You’re the only surviving brain donor I’ve ever known.”

Robertson had been asked to describe sin by GQ and replied: “It seems like, to me, a vagina – as a man – would be more desirable than a man’s anus. I mean, come on dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.

The 67-year-old also paraphrased from Corinthians, claiming that “the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers” will not “inherit the kingdom of God”.

On Wednesday, US LGBT media advocacy group GLAAD also criticised Robertson’s remarks.

Wilson Cruz, a spokesperson for GLAAD, said: “Phil’s decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to re-examine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families.”

Phil Robertson has since refused to apologise for his comments, saying: ““we are not going to procreate the human race unless we have a man and a woman.”

Last year, Charlie Sheen apologised after using a homophobic slur, saying: “I meant no ill will and intended to hurt no one and I apologize if I offended anyone… I meant to say maggot but I have a lisp.”
