Google has celebrated the marriage of a same-sex couple in its Zeitgeist video of 2013.

Featured in a section of the Zeitgeist video titled ‘New Beginnings’, which also features the birth of Prince George.

The video goes on to celebrate other most-searched items, including exploration of space and the passing of Nelson Mandela and Lou Reed.
