Dame Helen Mirren has been seen in attendance at the As One in the Park, gay outdoor festival today, and even joined drummers on stage, following a drama when she went on a rant at drummers promoting the festival two weeks ago.

The esteemed actress had clearly put the debacle behind her, as she was spotted with husband Taylor Hackford at the event, which took place in Victoria Park today.

Just two weeks ago, the actress was in full costume as the Queen for her stage show when drummers began playing loudly outside the Gielgud Theatre on Rupert Street in London’s Soho, interrupting the performance.

Various newspapers and social media reports claimed slight variations on what she said, although Dame Helen admitted to using language that was more in keeping with Prince Philip than with the monarch.

“I was very upset, I was very cross. I had just spent five, 10 minutes on stage trying to allow the audience to hear what I was saying which was sort of impossible. I was steaming,” she said to Sky News.

The 67-year-old actress was keen to make humour from the drama afterwards, after being snapped wearing a custom made ‘As One in the Park’ t-shirt.

Other celebrities in attendance were Kate Moss, Tulisa and Tom Daley, as performances took place from Rita Ora, Boy George, Katy B & Rylan Clark.
