A new, bizarre music video features Hollywood actors James Franco, Edward Norton and Zach Galifianakis, all getting married to men, in a parody of the Spring Breakers film.

The video starts as a set-up with James Franco being interviewed by Galifianakis, star of the Hangover trilogy, in which he asks Franco strange questions, such as “would you consider hosting the Oscars”, to which Franco replies that he already has.

It then cuts to a music video featuring Andy Samberg’s comedy-music troop The Lonely Island, seemingly inspired by Franco’s recent film, Spring Breakers, which features drinking and partying.

Inter-dispersed within the video are scenes of writing vows, choosing fonts for wedding stationery, and eventually several same-sex unions featuring Franco, Norton, Galifianakis, and other members of The Lonely Island.

The comedy troop frequently features on US comedy programme Saturday Night Live, a former actress of which Victoria Jackson last year said equal marriage would “make God mad”.

‘Saturday Night Live’ recently satirised the current US focus on same-sex marriage in an opening sketch featuring North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un coming out for marriage equality.
