A Twitter feed will be accompanying men anonymously through their experiences at the 56 Dean Street sexual health clinic in London’s Soho tomorrow afternoon.

The Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trusts’ Twitter account will be at the clinic tomorrow afternoon following consenting men through their visit from 1pm to 5pm GMT.

The Trust successfully undertook a similar initiative at its Accident and Emergency centre in Chelsea, following patients from the waiting room through their experience of the hospital and answering queries from the Twittersphere.

Now, users are being encouraged to follow @ChelwestFT and ask the team questions about sexual health as they accompany anonymous men through the free NHS facility and get a picture of how a sexual health check-up should go.

It is recommended that sexually active gay men take at least an annual HIV test. 56 Dean Street offers a free walk in rapid HIV test, which can provide an HIV diagnosis in less than 5 minutes. You can also walk in for a Hepatitis B vaccination for at-risk individuals, free condoms and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis.

In December, 56 Dean Street worked with G-A-Y at the G-A-Y Bar on Old Compton Street to set a Guinness World Record for the most number of HIV tests administered in an eight hour period.
