The UK’s first gay and lesbian biker rally is to be held in Hastings next month.

Around 1,000 gay and lesbian bikers are expected to descend on the Azur at the Marina Pavilion, St Leonards, on September 18th.

Events will include a indoor/outdoor BBQ, music and comedy, while organisers have hired a car park and will offer visitors somewhere to store their helmets and gear.

Organiser Julian Langham told the Hastings Observer:

“I think that a lot of people are excited about it. It will be interesting to see how far they will travel from.

“This is an opportunity to find out the extent of the gay biker community.”
