Chris Brown has denied shouting anti-gay abuse at a recent basketball game.

The singer claims that the media has been “falsifying” reports of his alleged homophobia.

According to Star magazine, the singer was at casual basketball game at an LA gym recently when he lost his temper.

An eyewitness said: “He got really ticked off when things didn’t go his way during the game, saying, ‘That’s gay!’ and ‘You’re a faggot a**!’ to the other players.”

His bodyguards are said to have threatened to kick out other gym members for taking photos.

Brown was convicted of assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Witnesses at the gym claimed that he kept his fists to himself, although he “got in the face” of one player.

On Wednesday, the star took to Twitter to claim that the story was false. He wrote: “Believing everything the media says only makes us stupid as a society. Iget it now, the media doesn’t make enough money stalking and falsifying stories on other celebs so they continuously f**k wit [sic] me.”

Brown allegedly called a paparazzi photographer ‘gay’ last month and last year, he called singer Raz-B a “homo” after the pair got into a Twitter scrap.
