Blackburn Rovers fans charged over racist and anti-gay chants
Two Blackburn Rovers fans have appeared in court charged with shouting racist and homophobic abuse at players.
The match was a Cup game between Rovers and Queens Park Rangers on January 8th.
Graham Gooden, 42, of New Wellington Close, Blackburn, and Craig Rhodes, 41, of Broadway Street, Blackburn, were charged with racially aggravated harassment and using threatening words towards player Morten Gamst Pedersen, the Lancashire Telegraph reports.
Both pleaded not guilty to both charges. They have been remanded on bail.
