Teenager shot dead at Brazil pride festival

A teenage boy was killed in a shooting at a pride festival in south-east Brazil on Saturday.

The teenager was killed at the Juiz de Fora Pride, which attracted nearly 70,000 people.

According to AP, police said shots were fired during a confrontation between two gangs.

Local reports said another teenager was shot in the leg but his injuries are not life-threatening.

Seventeen teenagers were detained by police.
