National gay lifestyle magazine 3SIXTY and newspaper one80news are to relaunch under new ownership, it emerged today.

The titles have been bought by the titles’ current sales manager Graeme Austin and his partner Tony Vassallo.

“3SIXTY and one80news are both great titles and have really cemented themselves into the market place in the last two years,” said Mr Austin, the new publisher.

“They’ve expanded their geographical reach and readership enormously and we’re really excited about building on this further.”

The outgoing publishers, David Harvey and David Tuck, bought 3SIXTY in 2004 and launched one80news, which is available in London and Brighton, in 2007.

“It’s been a great run but we both feel the time is right to move on to pastures new,” said Mr Tuck.

“Tony and Graeme will do a fantastic job of maintaining the standards that the readers expect.”

Torsten Højer stays on as editor of 3SIXTY and Niall McMurray will continue as editor of one80news.
