Obama and McCain campaign in last few hours before election day
Senator John McCain is fighting right down to the wire in the US Presidential election.
More than 130 million Americans are expected to cast their votes tomorrow, one of the highest turnouts in a generation.
Despite being behind in the polls in four of the key states, Florida, Missouri, Nevada and Ohio, the Republican party nominee is claiming that he can still take tomorrow’s election.
“They may not know it, but the Mac is back! And we’re going to win this election.” he told a rally in Florida yesterday.
Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee, is leading in the national polls by 51% to 44%.
His campaign is concentrating on getting out the vote.
He appeared in a rally in Ohio yesterday with singer Bruce Springsteen in front of 80,000 supporters.
The state has backed the Presidential victor in every election since 1964.
Turnout will be key in deciding who will take the oath of office on January 20th 2009 as the 44th President of the United States.
