Actress Michelle Collins and cabaret act Topping and Butch will be among the entertainers doing a turn at Clapham Street Party later this month.

Gay venues the Kazbar and the Two Brewers have teamed up to host the party, which also promises a generous helping of hunks in trunks, in support of the gay men’s health charity, GMFA.

An auction will be hosted by Michelle Collins (alias Cindy from EastEnders).

As well as raising funds for GMFA the event will help to celebrate the launch of the refurbished Kazbar.

“The support we get from events like the street party are invaluable to us,” said Matthew Hodson, Head of Programmes at GMFA.

“As a community organisation we hugely appreciate the support of the bars and clubs that help us raise money to promote gay men’s health, and the people who turn out, give generously and make these occasions bigger and better every year.”

The Clapham Street party on Saturday 28 June begins at 2pm on Edgeley Road, which runs along the side of the Kazbar.

Street festivities continue until 10pm – then things move indoors.
