A local radio station in greater Manchester is launching a new show for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people.

Tuesday Night Out debuts on Wythenshawe FM  on 3rd June from 9 to 11pm.

Wythenshawe FM, one of the first stations on air in the UK as part of the Governments Access Radio project, was the first fulltime community radio station to go on air in Manchester in March 2002.

Tuesday Night Out presenter Murry said:

“We want the people of Wythenshawe to help us put together a show that is unmissable as a point of reference and entertainment for the LGBT community of Manchester.

“At the heart of any Community Radio station is the voice of its community and as this is the first show of its kind on WFM we want contributions from members of the LGBT community who live or work in Wythenshawe so that they are heard, Loud and Proud across South Manchester.”

The programme can be heard on Tuesday nights on 97.2FM across South Manchester and online at www.wfmradio.org.

If you want to contribute to, or take part in the show, email [email protected] or call Dave Murat on 0161 499 7982.
