Europe’s leading producer of queer arts and culture is presenting a stellar line up in Manchester in the coming weeks.

In addition to producing an internationally renowned annual multi-art form festival each May, queerupnorth’s work has toured London, Sydney, New York and throughout the UK and Europe.

The first two events are a comedy and music performance from Sandra Bernard this evening and tomorrow’s Queering The Pitch.

The ‘queer indie’ music festival is its second year and has graduated from the ‘toilet’ venues to the quasi mainstream, taking over Manchester’s Academy.

Hosted by Anthony Crank, it features Cherry Ghost, Ipso Facto, Bishi and many more.

The Queering the Pitch aftershow party tomorrow night from 11pm is at Legends, with Horse Meat Disco’s first full Manchester.
