With less than nine weeks to go until Oxford Pride on July 14th, the finishing touches are being put in place.

Oxford Pride 2007 coincides with the Oxfordshire Milliennium, so Pride will be a key feature in a summer of spectacular celebrations.

Lord Waheed Ali and Peter Tatchell are the patrons of the regional party.

The Pride festival will feature a VIP area in an open top bus with views of the main stage.

Acts confirmed for the stage include Cavali, True Envy, Lizzie Drop and Billiam, who are an up and coming boy band.

For £5 you can enjoy a complimentary drink and mingle with the stars.

If you would prefer to run a stall, there are still places left in the Village for your organisation.

Spokesman Rob Jordan said: “Following the amazing weather we had in the previous two years, lets keep our fingers crossed for another amazing day.”

This year will see the return of the dog show, and a new attraction: a human table top football.
