Eighties singer Pete Burns was arrested over the weekend after a fight with his ex fiancé outside a gay nightclub.

Burns was accused of attacking Michael Simpson and clawing his face at the Ghetto bar when he turned up with a new lover.

Witnesses told the Sun, “There was fur flying everywhere. It was a really ferocious little fight.

“At first Pete seemed quite calm when Michael arrived with another man.

“But just as he was going to leave he suddenly went wild.”

The former Dead or Alive front man was held in custody along with another man, until Sunday afternoon when they were released on bail.

A police spokesman confirmed the arrests.
