Belgian surgeons to perform Cuba’s gender reassignment operations 1
2:56 PM — The head of Cuba's National Centre for Sexual Education, Mariela Castro, has revealed that 30 gender reassignment operations have been approved. She told AFP "we're getting ready a team of surgeons from Belgium" to perform the procedures.

2:07 PM — Poland's Blood Donation Centre is considering a ban on blood donations from gay men. Doctors at the centre said they are not prejudiced, but think the ban will reduce the risk of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis.
