1:25 PM — A lesbian couple who were refused a joint tenancy in government housing in Gibraltar are to appeal in the UK. Three years ago, the Housing Allocation Committee refused to grant them a joint tenancy on the basis that they were unmarried.

10:30 AM — Carrie Prejean, the Miss World contestant who criticised gay marriage, has defended topless photos of her taken as a teenager. The beauty queen, who was crowned Miss California, said she did not believe in gay marriage when asked by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton at the final of the competition.
Greek court annuls first gay marriages 10
9:55 AM — A Greek court has ruled that two gay marriages performed on the island of Tilos are invalid. Tilos mayor Tassos Aliferis had allowed the marriages to take place in July last year, saying that civil marriage law did not specify gender.
