12:52 PM — Two gay men in Malawi have been denied the chance to have their case heard in a constitutional court. Lawyers for Steven Monjeza, 26, and Tiwonge Chimbalanga, 20, had requested a review on whether their trials violated the country's constitution.

12:50 PM — Efforts to roll back the US state of New Hampshire's recent gay marriage law have been defeated. Gay marriage became legal in the state on January 1st but conservative Republicans quickly announced plans to seek repeal.

12:18 PM — Six men arrested in Kenya by police who suspected them of being gay have been released. The men, aged between 20 and 35, were taken into custody last Friday after rumours they were planning a gay wedding in the coastal town of Mtwapa.

7:08 PM — An Oklahoma student is suing state officials for barring him from getting a personalised car numberplate reading "IM GAY". Keith Kimmel said he was proud to be gay.

5:21 PM — Another man has been arrested on homosexuality charges in Malawi. Police spokesman Dave Chingwalu said a 60-year-old man was arrested on Monday and charged with sodomy.

South African man wins Mr Gay World 2010 31
