11:57 AM — An 18-year-old Iranian man is facing execution over a false sodomy charge, campaigners say. Ebrahim Hamidi was sentenced to death two years ago at the age of 16 for an unspecified assault on another man which was later withdrawn.

Two thousand marchers join ‘subdued’ Jerusalem Pride 2
5:03 PM — Two thousand people marched in Jerusalem Pride's parade yesterday despite anti-gay protests. The march was described by onlookers as "subdued", as it lacked the usual colour, noise and vibrant costumes associated with Pride.

Israeli police reject proposed gay pride parade route through Jerusalem 8
12:09 PM — The Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance's proposed route from for a gay pride march through the city has been rejected by Israeli police, who claimed one reason for their concern is that the route would pass a yeshiva, an institution for the study of traditional Jewish texts such as the Torah.
