6:25 AM — Fast food chain McDonalds has been accused of censoring gay news and support websites in New Zealand from its free wifi service. The hamburger giant blocks access to GayNZ, a New Zealand equivialent of PinkNews.co.uk as well as a number of LGBT support groups.

5:03 PM — A New Zealand brewery has withdrawn a marketing campaign which suggested that low-carbohydrate beer is "queer". Moa Beers planned to give away t-shirts which said "Low Carb Beers", with a pink 'Q' superimposed over the letter 'B' to read "Qeers".

2:58 PM — The Australian Green party is predicting that gay marriage will soon become law as a poll shows 57 per cent of the public are in favour of the change. Of the 37 per cent who were against the change, 16 per cent were opposed and 21 per cent were strongly opposed.

Australian lesbian couple banned from school ball 13
3:09 PM — A teenage lesbian couple in Australia are changing schools after they were barred from attending a ball together. Hannah Williams, 16, wanted to take her girlfriend Savannah Supski, also 16, to the event at Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar in Melbourne but the Year 11 student was told she could only attend the ball with a boy.
