11:47 AM — A man has been charged with the first degree murder of Jorge Steven Lopez Mercado. Lopez Mercado, 19, was found dead by the side of a road Saturday in the city of Cayey. His body had been burnt and dismembered.

5:53 PM — A teacher in the US state of Georgia is accused of trying to "put a hit" on a student he thought was gay Randolph Forde, a teacher at Mundy’s Mill High School in Clayton County, has been suspended with pay after being arrested last month.

11:20 AM — A gay teenager has been found burned and decapitated on the island of Puerto Rico. The body of Jorge Steven Lopez Mercado was found on Saturday (November 14th) in Cayey, a city several miles away from his hometown of Caguas.

11:57 PM — Following the ruling by a judge in Buenos Aires last week, an Argentinian gay couple were today granted a same sex marriage licence. Jose Maria Di Bello and partner Alex Freyre argued that a ban on gay marriage violated the constitution of Argentina.

6:15 PM — Window Media LCC, the largest publisher of LGBT newspapers and websites in America, has closed down. The company owns the Washington Blade, Southern Voice, David magazine and the South Florida Blade.
