US student given 90 days in juvenile detention for attacking gay classmate 12
4:34 PM — A 15-year-old Ohio student has been sentenced to a month and half in a juvenile detention centre after he was videotaped attacking a gay classmate. Levi Sever was also ordered to undergo counselling.

2:00 PM — A senior official in the Russian government has said he is "perplexed" by the US statement condemning a proposed law which could severely hinder freedom of expression for LGBT people in St Petersburg.
