California teenager will face re-trial over gay school shooting
1:36 PM — A California teenage is to face a retrial over the shooting of his gay classmate. However, Brandon McInerney, who was 14 at the time of the killing, will now not face hate crime charges.

‘Hung’ star Thomas Jane says he was a gay prostitute 42
4:48 PM — Thomas Jane, the star of HBO series 'Hung', has revealed he worked as a male prostitute when he first arrived in Hollywood. The 42-year-old actor told the Los Angeles Times that he was homeless and slept with men and women for money.

New medical rules for US transgender inmates
11:27 AM — The US Bureau of Prisons has adopted new rules for the care of transgender inmates. Previously, prisoners would be permitted to continue with treatments such as hormone therapy if they began them before being incarcerated. However, they would not be permitted to start such treatments inside.

10:17 AM — Two professors from American religious universities claim they have evidence to show that sexual orientation can be changed. Mark Yarhouse of Regent University and Stanton Jones at Wheaton College say that almost a quarter of the people they studied were able to become straight.
