Video: Queen unveils monument at Bletchley Park, home of gay genius codebreaker Alan Turing 34
12:25 PM — The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh yesterday unveiled a monument to commemorate the contribution made by code breakers at Bletchley Park to victory over Nazi Germany in the Second World War. In particular, The Queen paid tribute to the gay codebreaker Alan Turing who was later forced to undergo chemical castration after being convicted of homosexuality.

Men attacked in Vauxhall after London Pride 129
10:13 AM — Two men were attacked and robbed in Spring Gardens, Vauxhall, after London Pride. The men, aged 25 and 33, were returning home from a night out at around 1.40am Sunday July 4th when they were set upon by a gang of between eight and ten black males.

Tory gay group says Ken Livingstone should be banned from Pride 62
4:19 PM — Updated: The Conservative Party's LGBT group, LGBTory, has called for mayoral candidate Ken Livingstone to banned from London Pride over his alleged "close friendship" with an anti-gay extremist. The group's chairman, Matthew Sephton, accused Mr Livingstone of being a "hypocrite" who will "undermine the core values" of the event.
