    4:34 PM — Pride London have announced that the Soho street party will now go ahead next Saturday 3 July. Last week, the charity had been forced to cancel any Soho celebrations after problems negotiating licensing and the threat of potential disruptions relating to the extensive Crossrail roadworks currently taking place in central London.

    10:20 PM — Punch Taverns says it has begun an internal investigation after the deputy manager of its Greencoat Boy pub in Westminster allegedly told the Labour Party's LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans) group that he would not have accepted the group's booking had he have known they were gay.

    2:04 AM — A London pub has been reported to the police following an alleged homophobic comment made by its manager to the Labour Party's LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans) group. The comments have sparked widespread condemnation by senior labour figures including leadership candidate Ed Balls and Sarah Brown, the wife of former prime minister Gordon Brown and former deputy prime minister John Prescott.
