    LGB youngsters were more likely to have been punished by schools or the law

    1:03 PM — An American study of gay, lesbian and bisexual teenagers finds that they are 40 per cent more likely to be punished at school or by the police and courts than their straight peers. The Yale University study found that lesbian and bisexual girls were particularly at risk.
