    PayPal won’t announce action against ‘gay hatred’ groups 47

    PayPal says it has to respect religious freedom

    3:47 PM — PayPal has responded to calls for it to cancel the accounts of faith groups accused of promoting hate against gay people. The e-payments service said it could not comment on individual accounts and has to take "freedom of religion" into account.

    PayPal has been asked to ban groups accused of promoting homophobia

    3:11 PM — PayPal has been asked to cancel the accounts of religious groups accused of supporting anti-gay legislation. Campaign group AllOut says that as the e-payments site quickly banned white supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan, it should also cancel the accounts of groups such as Abiding Truth Ministries.
