1:36 AM — A bill introduced in the Senate, in the US state of Louisiana will block gay, and unmarried couples from being able to become parents by using surrogates, by requiring that all parents using such a process, are married.

High Court challenge of Northern Ireland’s gay adoption rules begins 4
10:00 AM — A human rights body in Northern Ireland has begun arguments at the country's High Court to reverse the ban on unmarried couples adopting children. The Human Rights Commission is challenging laws which it argues are incompatible with those in England, Wales and Scotland, and do not protect the interests of the child in question.

Equal adoption rights for Scottish gay couples begin today 4
