10:38 PM — Australian Liberal MP Malcolm Turnbull has attacked anti-gay campaigners as "dripping with the worst sort of hypocrisy". Frontbencher Mr Turnbull, who was delivering a lecture on the Gold Coast, attacked the coalition for its unwillingness to legalise marriage for gay couples, The Age reports.

Australian Greens predict legal gay marriage as poll shows majority support 7
2:58 PM — The Australian Green party is predicting that gay marriage will soon become law as a poll shows 57 per cent of the public are in favour of the change. Of the 37 per cent who were against the change, 16 per cent were opposed and 21 per cent were strongly opposed.
