    Study suggests immune system treatment for HIV 3

    3:58 PM — A study on mice with an HIV-like infection found that boosting their immune systems cured them of the disease. Scientists at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Australia said their findings could help develop drugs to help people rid their bodies of infections such as HIV, hepatitis B and C and tuberculosis.

    NAT says the system does not take into account the nature of HIV

    4:36 PM — Changes to the benefits system will "fail" HIV sufferers, a leading AIDS charity says. According to the National AIDS Trust, testing Employment and Support Allowance claimants fails to take into account the fluctuating nature of HIV.
