BBC cuts Torchwood gay sex scene 142
12:21 PM — British Torchwood viewers won't see a raunchy gay sex scene because BBC bosses thought it was too explicit. The scene, with gay star John Barrowman's character Captain Jack Harkness and a barman, has already been broadcast in the US on cable channel Starz.

2:32 PM — Queer As Folk writer Russell T Davies is reportedly developing a new show about the lives of gay men. According to Deadline, the show's current title is 'Cucumber' and the screenwriter, best known for his re-imagining of Doctor Who, is said to be working with BBC Worldwide Productions.

Russell T Davies: ‘Cameron and Clegg are evil’ 76
5:31 PM — Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies has launched an outspoken attack on David Cameron and Nick Clegg over spending cuts to the BBC. Davies, who is one of the BBC's most senior writers, called the leaders "savage and evil people" and claimed the Conservative Party was "buffoonish" but "lethal as a laser".
