12:10 PM — It has emerged that BBC presenters are allowed to promote National Christmas Day and Movember but are banned from promoting World AIDS Day. On World AIDS Day 2011, the BBC broadcast an extended film about a presenter shaving off his 'Movember' moustache to raise awareness for prostate cancer, in apparent contravention of its own rules.
