6:14 PM — Students at the Hasidic yeshiva of Gur have been banned from eating any food products based on soya out of a fear that it may lead to an increase in gay sex.

Spain: Madrid’s Jewish community denies authenticity of anti-gay interview by Chief Rabbi 5
7:03 PM — The Jewish community in the Spanish city of Madrid has denied the authenticity of an interview attributed to its Chief Rabbi during which he reportedly said gay people were "deviant" and needed "reeducating".

4:18 PM — The first ever LGBT inclusive children’s book aimed at Jewish people is being released, Minneapolis-based publisher Kar-Ben Publishing has announced.

11:11 AM — It has been revealed that religious institutions are being charged up to 16 times more for a civil partnership licence than a marriage licence by local councils, preventing many from offering services to same-sex couples.
