4:21 PM — A Conservative grandee has asked police to step up patrols around his 2,000-acre estate to prevent gay cruisers meeting for sex. Sir Beville Stanier, who is a friend of the Queen, complained that Oxfordshire county council should do more to "alleviate the problem".

4:47 PM — An anti-hate crime operation carried out by the Met Police this morning has resulted in 195 arrests. The majority of arrests were connected to domestic violence, although two were related to homophobic offences.

Gay men in London warned over ‘drugged robberies’ 7
1:54 PM — Middle-aged gay men who drink in the Charing Cross area of London have been advised to stay on their guard after a spate of drug-assisted robberies. Lambeth Police say there have been a number of incidents in which older men have been approached by a young man in a Charing Cross bar and subsequently robbed.

5:00 PM — A £10,000 award is being offered to anyone who has information to solve the death of a gay man who was attacked in Southampton a year ago. Nigel Price, 58, was found on Southampton Common on Saturday November 14th 2009 with severe head injuries.

6:36 PM — A lesbian police officer killed herself after being bullied about her sexuality and appearance, an inquest heard today. Lara Goldie, 28, was found hanged at her Hackney flat in June.

Police appeal for witnesses after homophobic tube assault 9
1:45 PM — Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was verbally abused and assaulted on a busy Central line train in London last week. The man was on his way to work when he was subjected to homophobic abuse and then assaulted in a prolonged attack.

10:54 AM — A 34-year-old woman has been charged with murder following the death of a person at Kings Cross Station on Monday evening. The victim has been named as 63-year-old David Burgess, from central London.

Charges dropped against three men in New York ‘gay bashing’
5:26 PM — Three of the 11 men charged with an homophobic attack in New York have had the charges against them dropped. Bryan Almonte, 17, Steven Carabello, 17, and Brian Cepeda, 16, were cleared of any involvement in the October 3rd attack yesterday and were released from jail.

‘Trans’ victim ‘pushed’ to death under Kings Cross tube train
1:57 PM — A woman was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday evening after a person was allegedly pushed under a tube train at London Kings Cross Station. The victim, said by police to be a 63-year-old man from central London, is understood to have been wearing women's clothes.

2,000 join London vigil against hate crime 13
12:01 PM — Two thousand people braved the wind and rain to join a London vigil to remember victims of hate crime on Saturday evening. The crowd assembled in Trafalgar Square and heard speeches by equality minister Lynne Featherstone and Stuart Milk, the nephew of murdered US gay rights activist Harvey Milk.
