11:39 AM — American megachurch pastor Eddie Long has announced at the weekend that he will go on hiatus from preaching, after his wife filed for divorce. Long, who was accused of seducing four young men last year, told his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church congregation: "I'm going to take a little time off to work with my family."

New medical rules for US transgender inmates
11:27 AM — The US Bureau of Prisons has adopted new rules for the care of transgender inmates. Previously, prisoners would be permitted to continue with treatments such as hormone therapy if they began them before being incarcerated. However, they would not be permitted to start such treatments inside.

5:37 PM — Another Conservative MP has attacked plans to encourage schools to include references to gay people in maths, science and geography. South Dorset MP Richard Drax said the voluntary lesson plans were "ludicrous" and would impose "questionable sexual standards" on children.
90s star Tiffany apologises for outing Jonathan Knight 13
4:37 PM — New Kids on the Block singer Jonathan Knight was accidentally outed by 90s popstar Tiffany. She was being interviewed on Bravo's late night chat show Watch What Happens Live and told host Andy Cohen that Knight was gay.
