3:56 PM — Today the EU Fundamental Rights Agency will publish the first-ever comparative study on the experience of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in the 27 Member States and Croatia. It finds that almost one in two (47%) LGBT people felt discriminated against or harassed in the last year.

8:59 PM — Michael Cashman has become the first member of the European Parliament to join the Out4Marriage campaign. The former star of British soap opera EastEnders says that equality should also mean that straight couples should be entitled to hold civil partnerships should they wish, something that the Government is not currently proposing.
