5:07 PM — A study of American medical schools suggests that they are not giving students enough training on lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender issues. According to the research, most medical schools provide just five hours on LGBT health issues, while one third offer no training on the matter at all.

Scans show difference in transgender brains 53
1:52 PM — A team of scientists has discovered differences in the brains of transgender people. The researchers, at the National University of Distance Education in Madrid, Spain, believe their technique could help doctors identify transgender people at an early age, giving them more options for treatment, such as delaying the onset of puberty.
