    4:51 PM — A pair of Los Angeles filmmakers are recreating all 60-plus hours of California's trial on the gay marriage ban. The trial, which is the first federal trial to examine whether the state's ban is constitutional, is currently on a break until next month.

    3:08 PM — The heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune has been found dead at her Los Angeles home. Casey Johnson, 30, had a history of drug abuse. Police said she appeared to have died from natural causes, although a cause of death has not been determined.

Magazine editor, Michael Davis Sapir, claims that the actor hired private detective, Anthony Pellicano, to wiretap his phone. In 2001 Sapir claimed to have a video in his possession that proved he was having a "homosexual relationship" with the star.
